Paris Orgy, written by Charles Mee, directed by 3-Legged Dog’s Executive Artistic Director, Kevin Cunningham, and designed by his team at 3LD will be an intricate, multi-level performance installation. Through a fully immersive, 3D/HD surround assemblage of dialogue, images, music and dance that blends 3D projected images with live performances, Mee, Cunningham and their creative team intend to construct a piece that through its course allows the audience to create their own abstract and deeply personal narrative about the essence of physical and emotional love.

The emphasis will be creating a collaged vision of Paris seen from many points of view simultaneously, in which the characters begin as minutia and emerge in sharper detail revealing the beauty of the city through the text—the very transformation Rimbaud describes in his poem: Although it is frightful to see you again covered in this fashion; although no city was ever made into a more foul-smelling ulcer on the face of green Nature, the Poet says to you: 'Your beauty is Marvelous!'

	I believe in pleasure because what else it there? Do you believe in pain? Do you believe in pointlessness? What else should you believe except in pleasure and then, if you wish to become philosophical or political you can believe in pleasure for all pleasure for everyone and then a painless death at an old age at a very old age this is what I believe	3LD/3D+ IS A NEW PRODUCTION, DISTRIBUTION, AND DOCUMENTATION SYSTEM FOR EXPERIMENTAL ARTWORK. This system combines a well-known domestic and international live art touring circuit with the broad reach of digital media in an attempt to produce a new business model and new opportunities for contemporary performance. Each production selected for the 3LD/ 3D+ program will go through a cross platform development process and documented in stereoscopic 3D.
